Speech / Speak Screen does not work with hyphens

Hi,

When iOS reads (text-to-speech) a text with hyphens, the voice reads it as 2 separate words.

Any solution to that?

Additionally, for the "full stop" at the end of the sentence, the voice reads "dot" and immediately speaks the next word, instead of pausing.

I'm using latest iOS version. Easy to reproduce with Kindle app.
