Q: Image burn on screen iMac 5k late 2014
Hello,
For a some time now I've been seeing a image burn effect on the lock screen, when on the lock screen your able to kinda see the dock and Mac menu bar.
This can also happen on the desktop to if you move the dock from the button to the side you will see I image of the doc still kind of there but fades away after time, this dose not allways happen so unsure if it's a issue with somthing with the os or if it's image burn. I say this becaus I contacted apple support before (don't remember when) and they said its to do with a issue in the os and that it will be fixed soon.
I was just wondering what you think? could it be screen burn or somthing eles. I don't think it's a issue with the os since I have windows install and the issue happens there to.
here is a link to some images of the issue : https://imgur.com/a/l1V8m
Thank you for your time and have a great day.
iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

It's not burn, it is Image Persistence. Apple explains how to handle this in Avoiding image persistence on Apple displays - Apple Support
