4G T-Mobile LTE Cellspot with Airport

Love my Airport Express but had trouble setting it up with my new T-Mobile LTE cellspot which is a problem in my area because of the lack of cell signal (shows no internet connection). Couldn't find any information about this so I thought I would make a post. In airport utility I had to set a DHCP reservation on the network under network on the airport utility (IP address I chose on the local network was 10.0.1.10 with the MAC address that was listed on the back of the cellspot) and the IPv4 Port mapping reservation using Public and private IPv4 UDP and TCP ports of 123, 500, 4500 with the 10.0.1.10 private IP address I specified in the previous step. Now zero issues. Hope this helps anyone with the same issue!

While I am having the same issue and have called Apple multiple times, they have only made things more complicated. After spending hours on the phone with a rep earlier this week, I was advised to reconfigure my wireless network. The call then dropped and he did not call back - even though he had my number. I called Apple again tonight and after waiting for an hour to speak to someone I was told that the issue was with interference between the airport and the cell spot and that I just needed to move them apart. Huhm...

Would you be able to repeat your explanation in simpler terms?

Your advice worked for me too.

After a recent firmware update to my Airport Extreme router, my T-mobile CellSpot quit working. Rebooting the router and cellspot did nothing. After following your advice and re-booting both devices again, nothing improved. However, when I rebooted the internet modem, everything worked!

To be clear, One must enter all three port numbers in all four UDP/TCP fields.
