Q: My wife can send but not receive text messages on her phone
My wife can send text messages to me and I can read them on my phone but she cannot receive text messages i sent to her from my phone? This started happening in the last two weeks before that it was never a problem.

Can she receive iMessages? If yes - then take the SIM card out
Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
Do a forced restart - After shutting down all open apps using the app switcher - invoked by quick double press of the home button and swiping up on each app till it flies off the screen.
Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons down together till you see logo - then release and allow normal boot up
Then try again - if the issue persists contact your carrier since SMS are a carrier feature
