Q: recently traded iphone from one carrier to another. At the store we thought the agent did a system restore to my phone. I just got the phone back from them saying they can't turn off "find my phone" app. keeps showing No SIM and Verification fail
recently changed carriers. At the store we traded iPhone from old carrier to new. I just received the old IPhone back from them saying the "find my iPhone"app is still on and I can't receive credit for this phone from the carrier. I have done a system restore but this doesn't work. Phone states "NOSIM" and Verfication failed. How do I get this taken care of?

That means that the phone is locked to its prior carrier
