Q: icloud upgrade for Windows fails to install

An icloud window pop-up for upgrade 5.2 asks to install. I used both automatic and manual installation methods but the upgrade from 4.1 to 5.2 won't occur.

Is it safe to uninstall icoud and re-install it?

iphone6 and ipad pro, Windows 10
