VoiceOver (an accessibility feature that includes Screen Curtain) has been activated on your wife's watch.
- To disable VoiceOver:
- On your wife's iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Accessibility > VoiceOver > turn off each of VoiceOver and Screen Curtain.
- Or use Siri: press and hold the Digital Crown until your wife feels a tap on her wrist > then say: “Turn off VoiceOver.”
- If the Accessibility Shortcut has been enabled and configured for VoiceOver, your wife can also enable and disable the feature more conveniently:
- On the watch: quickly press the Digital Crown (the round button) three times.
- To configure the Accessibility Shortcut:
- On your wife's iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > Accessibility > Accessibility Shortcut (at the bottom) > select / deselect VoiceOver.
- To disable VoiceOver:

You should then be able to re-pair it via the standard process, choosing to Restore from Backup during set up:
