calendar gone after upgrading to El Capitan

I upgraded to El Capitan from Lion via clean install. My Lion computer was encrypted, but I have everything backed up to time machine. How do I get my calendars back to the way they were? Same thing with Address book. and mail.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

Did you sync our calendar, contacts and mail with iCloud?

If yes, you can select to sync in System Preferences > iCloud.

If no, you will need to bring over the data from your User's Library in Time Machine. How familiar are you with Time Machine? Do you know how to view your User's Library?

Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac - Apple Support

Show User's Library

The User's Library folder is hidden by default. To unhide: Select the Finder in the Dock. Under Go in the Menu bar > hold down the Option key and you’ll see the Library.
