Q: iTunes/Genius not adding new music to cloud and according to Finder I have about 2000 songs

I installed some songs from manufacturer CDs tonight and have been unable to upload into cloud.  Initially received info that Genius was having difficulties because "unable to contact internet," so I turned off my wi-fi and restarted it.  Since then (for last 3 hours) the iTune's activity window states 'iCloud Music Library sending information to Apple."  What is suggested?

 

PS, My cover art is being changed daily and often art has nothing to do with the song, artist, or album.  It's an adventure every day.
