If you have a pre-created password reset disk before, then you can easily reset your Windows 8 with it.

You might need a Windows 8 recovery media to perform a Windows 8 'Reset'. Resetting your PC re-installs Windows but deletes your files, settings, and apps—except for the apps that came with your PC. For more details, you may refer to the link below:

Hello, but how to create a USB flash reset disk? I do have a 4GB flash drive, can I use it to make a reset disk?

It seems you installed Windows on a Mac. The simplest way to reset windows admin password is to create a password reset disk with USB. P.S There is no data loss with this method.
