Restrict Unblocking Contacts by child

My teen can easily unblock contacts that I have blocked using a RESTRICTION code. I have also selected "do not allow changes" for Accounts and Contacts under the Restrictions menu. In fact I have disallowed changes on most everything available. Even after this, the block/unblock option is still available under her phone list, contact list and imessage list. I realize these are all the same list just letting everyone know I have checked via every possible way I can think.

Any help is appreciated. I desperately need to eliminate her contact with a few "friends". I've spent a lot time trying to figure this out and am ready to replace her iphone with a basic flip phone.

Hi,

Is this using Parental Controls ?

It is a long time since I looked at this (back in iChat 4) and I am not up-to-date with the current functions.

Parental Controls would be on the Mac and blocks would require the syncing on Contacts to an iPhone.

Back in iChat 4 linking to an iPhone would not have been possible.

iChat and Mail used to be the standard Apps that could have blocks applied to them.

The Privacy Tab may also have settings that need looking at.

Whilst Blocks on the iPhone or Mac tend to "sync" across devices I am not sure how far this goes now.
