Q: Macbook air only sound in bootcamp

I have a macbook air 13" 2013, There went water over it more than 6 months ago and after some luck it still worked.

My sound does not work (or mic and audiojack) but in BootCamp Windows 10 it all does work, but the screen goes off after a few minutes if I don't turn on some music (can be muted) or a video in the background and if I close it in windows it doesn't go on when I open it.

I have no idea why this happens.

help is really needed

    Hello senne010,

Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!

It is my understanding you are experiencing sound issues when using Mac OS X, and a screen issue on the Windows side.  I know how important your computer is and would want to get this fixed!

You do mention that there has been some water contact with the computer.  When a computer comes in contact with any type of liquid it should really be looked at by a service provider.  The liquid is likely to cause corrosion and other issues that may show up as time goes on.  Without service, the problems can slowly increase to the point where the computer will not run any longer.

The first thing to do is to back up everything that is on the computer so it is not lost.  Your computer has software on it called Time Machine.  It is fantastic software for backing up your computer.  Information on how to use Time Machine is available here:

Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.

Once everything is backed up, you can locate the nearest Service Provider here:

    Cheers!
