calendar 7.0 forgets data

Hello. As of lately, calendar 7.0 8 (on 10.9.5) forgets data in newly set up events—that is, it doesn't forget the New Event altogether, but it sets it back to an empty New Event with default times, and deletes all data (Event title, location, time … ). Why? What to do?
