Q: Best file format for 3 hour project to DVD

Three hour edited dance recital.

To be sent to DVD copier for authoring and copying. 

Shot on Sony cam 1920X1080p .  30p   Source Camera Apple Pro Res 422.

Master File

Share as Mastering/computer format or Audio/Video? (H264 only option there)

Save as MP4?  H264? (43GB)   Pro-res 422 (300 GB!)?

Double layer DVD? 

 

Any DVD copiers out there?

    Share as Master File ProRes LT.

     

    The authoring application will do the converting to DVD.

    DVD standards will always be SD not HD of any flavour.

     

    Dual layer will be required for 3 hours. Otherwise create an Intermission and use two discs. (give the viewers a break)
