Based on what you stated, it seems you may be able to recover the data from this app by restoring a recent iCloud or iTunes backup, as that app and the app’s data should be in there.

The next step you can try is to go to iCloud on a computer, sign in with your Apple ID and password, then select Settings > Advanced, and click Recover Files. If this doesn't recover the data you need, your next step will be to contact AppleCare phone support, as they have tools and resources for situations like yours.
