song exports/bounces longer than the ending playhead marker. The finished audio file includes 30 seconds silence at the end.

Hi.

I finish a project in Logic Pro X and "export to iTunes". The result is an audio file that includes 30 seconds silence past what would be the end of the file. It appears the project bounces past the ending playhead marker. I have no idea how it does this and would appreciate help. I would need my project bounce to stop at the end marker.

Thank you,

Do you have "Include Audio Tail" checked, along with some kind of Normalization?

To get the Audio length correct uncheck "include audio tail", if you want to get the reverb tail just extend the song length by a small amount. Normalization you will want to experiment with... since I "master" the bounce file separately I never use normalization. Why would you want something messing with a mix you worked hard on.
