Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!If I understand correctly, you are unable to install the latest version of Flash. Keeping Flash up to date is very important to keep your computer secure.
You want to be sure that you are only downloading Flash from the Adobe download site. Download Flash from this link:
One of the system requirements for the latest version of Flash is that you be running the latest version of Safari. If you are not currently running the latest version of OS X and Safari, I would recommend updating both. Of course, before updating, be sure to back up your computer. Your computer has software on it called Time Machine. It is fantastic software for backing up your computer. Information on how to use Time Machine is available here:
Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac.
Once you have the backup, you can update the OS X to El Capitan. It is a free update. Follow these instructions to complete the update:
