Problem with internal speakers
I installed an update today in the morning since then my internal speakers not working. Kindly help.
Apple Icon (menu bar)>System Preferences>Sound. Click on Sound Effects Tab pull down Play sound effect through: Select Internal Speakers. Make sure volume is increased to where you like and make sure MUTE is Not checked. Click on Output Tab and Select Internal Speakers. Again, making sure MUTE is Not checked.
Note that your keyboard has Mute, Volume Up and Volume Down. You may wish to check that you did not incidentally press Mute instead of Volume Down on your keyboard.
in System Preferences>Accessibility In the left viewing pane under the heading Hearing you can access sound preferences there as well.
