Q: I cannot see devices and cannot import ringtone

I am trying to send a song from my iTunes Library, to my iPhone 6S. I am running Mavericks.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

If your iPhone 6s is running on iOS 9, you likely need to update iTunes to version 12.4.

Otherwise, provide us with more detailed info on what the exact issue is.

Now I understand the issue. I am not able to upgrade to iTunes 12.4 because I have not upgraded to Yosemite.

I wonder if it's at all possible to share the new ringtone that I created in garage band and share it to the cloud, and then back to the iPhone 6S?

I have not tested this myself, but I would think that either iCloud, or even emailing it to yourself, should work.
