How can I do wireless printing from a 1st generation iPad?

What make and model number of printer do you have?
Do you know if the printer is AirPrint compatible?
Will the printer connect to an Apple router using USB, wireless, or Ethernet?

Thru further research, I found that my printer is the problem, as it is not AirPrint compatible. Thanks for your help.
An App......like Printopia.....might be able to allow the iPad to print....even if the printer is not AirPrint compatible.
