Q: why can't I get ITV Hub and All 4 apps on Apple TV?

I've just purchased the latest Apple TV (32GB) and find I can download BBC iPlayer but not the ITV Hub or All 4. Does anyone know why this is?

    You can watch the ITV Hub on an iPhone or iPad. Using either of those, you can use AirPlay Mirroring to send to an AppleTV connected to your TV.

     

    Note: if you are outside the UK you might need a proxy.

     

    ITV have not made an AppleTV App - yet.

     

    You can also view the ITV Hub in your web browser on your Mac/iMac/MacBook, but it depends which model you have as to whether it supports AirPlay.

     

    You may be able to use a cable instead, such as HDMI, to connect your Mac to your TV directly, but some services prevent that from working - and I haven't tested ITV yet.
