Q: How can I best import everything from WaveBurner on one drive to an empty WaveBurner on another drive?

I have a large amount CDs I put together in WaveBurner on one internal drive that is full. I know there is an import button for importing audio files.

But I want not just the audio files but all projects so I can still work on them.

How can I best import everything from WaveBurner on one drive to an empty WaveBurner on another drive?

Thank you so much for your time and patience.

Logic Studio, OS X Mavericks (10.9), WaveBurner 1.6.1

Since nobody answered my calling I sat down and researched and studied WaveBurner behavior and I can answer my question myself and solve it. Since there have been quite a few people asking similar questions about WaveBurner files I will post what I have learned.

Whenever you drop your audio files into the List window to make your CD WaveBurner does not copy copy your audio files but relies on the original audio file wherever they are located. So whenever you move the orig. files and you open WaveBurner, it can not find those and pops an error window to suggest it will search for the missing file or if you know where it now is lets you find it manually. WaveBurner will usually place the .wb3 project file that contains everything in your home folder.

Because of this I now reserve a WaveBurner audio files folder also in my home folder. In order to be save from WaveBurner can’t find the audio-file, all audio files that I make I place into my WaveBurner audio files folder first, then copy them into WaveBurner from there.

When I need to use a bigger hard drive I copy not only the .wb3-WaveBurner projects fie but also my

WaveBurner audio files folder to the home folder on the new hard drive.

Now WaveBurner finds all audio-files without a problem.

I hope this will sole somebody else's problem. Happy WaveBurning.
