Aret the feet on all the iBook G4s the Same?
I plan to buy some rubber feet for my iBook G4 since one of them broke off. Are they all the same or is one thicker then the other?
iBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8), 1.33PPCG4, 1.5GB RAM, 40GB HDD 2005
There may be some slight difference between the three rubber feet on the computer
and the single one on the battery; especially if the battery is a third-party clone...
Usually a set (is three) you may be able to buy them separately from vendors or in
a packet. Not sure if you could replace the one on a battery, to try & match if there
is some difference. Although I doubt there is a difference in the feet on a 14-inch
model iBook G4 compared to a 12-inch model G4, (shouldn't be) some out of spec
replacement clone feet may differ in dimensional specification.
{On my as-new original 12-inch iBook G4 Mid-2005 1.33GHz model, all feet are the same.
Also on my more tired looking 13-inch MacBook1.1, 1.83GHz coreduo, they're also same.}
