I see you’re wanting to use an in store credit to watch a movie. I’ll be happy to get you pointed in the right direction. First, let's see if we can find out if the credit is an iTunes gift card credit or an Apple Store credit. This article will help to determine which it might be:
What type of gift card do I have? - Apple Support
If the credit is for iTunes, you can simply check your balance using the instructions found in the article below and use it to either rent or purchase a movie to view:
See your iTunes credit balance - Apple Support
If the store credit is an Apple Store gift card credit, then you would not be able to use this in iTunes to watch a movie.
Hope this helps. Cheers!

*We are happy to inform you that the Court in charge of these cases has
approved the Apple Settlement. By June 24, 2016
<https://mail.google.com/mail/ca/u/0/#m_5278812971654953400_>, you will
have an automatic credit in your Apple account. You can use your credit
online for the purchase of products or services sold by Apple on iBooks,
iTunes, or the App Store. If your account does not reflect this credit,
please contact Apple's customer service.*
It says iTunes store. So, I should be able to rent movies?
Thanks again.

Jun 27, 2016 5:59 PM in response to R Larsonby chris_g1,Thanks for replying. You can use that second link I posted above to check your iTunes Credit balance. The credit you're supposed to get will allow you to purchase music, movies, or books. If the credit is not available you can contact our iTunes team using the following link:
