Q: Bluetooth will only connect to Beats Studio Wireless for 8 sec., and no audio option in settings.
Any Advice?
Bluetooth will connect to Beats studio headphones, but only for about 8 seconds and will not show up as option in sound settings or airplay. 2011 MBP, using a usb dongle so i can utilize bluetooth 4. i tried with another pair of bluetooth headphones and same issue. The bluetooth dongle is comparable with my Mac Mini (2011). I am running a thunderbolt connection to a display because the screen is cracked. (have tried reseting PRAM and deleting BTpreferences (.plist)) Thanks

Try resetting the BlueTooth module
hold the shift option keys>BlueTooth icon upper right>Debug>Reset
