Can't pair Sennheiser Momentum with MacBook Pro

Hi there,

My MacBook Pro retina (mid 2014) won't find my new Sennheiser Momentum Wireless M2 AEBT with its Bluetooth tool.

I'm not talking about sound issues, the device will simply not show up in the list.

OS is 10.10.5.

They work seamlessly with an iPhone 6s though.

What could I try to solve this? I bought them to be used with my laptop, not with my phone... 😕

I already tried reseting the NVRAM, and also fully disconnecting bluetooth on the phone, then restarting the headphones and trying to connect them to the Mac, with no luck.

I've meanwhile opened a support ticket with Sennheiser. But sometimes this forum is more effective...

Ideas/suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance

After checking with Sennheiser support, this solved the problem:

- Press and hold the power button until the LED flashes red and blue, and the voice prompt says "pairing."

- To clear previous pairings from the headset, follow the instructions above to put the unit into pairing mode. While keeping the Bluetooth button pressed, hold in the multifunction button until the LED flashes purple 3 times and the unit goes back into pairing mode.
