Q: Changed my Apple ID password, can't sign in with my Apple ID
I'm on a 2011 macbook pro , OSX 10.7.4, trying to download the OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 update. I need to be able to sign in onto App Store to do so - had to reset my Apple ID password as I'd forgotten it.
WHen I try to download El Capitan, App Store says I've never signed in before, asks me to do so, then asks me to agree to the terms & conditions, then asks me to enter my billing information, THEN, when I click continue, a little red box comes up in the top right corner saying: "For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/." .... and that's it - i'm still not signed in ... anyone else had this issue recently ?
