My mac mid 2012 goes off by itself

Hey, thanks for the response. I upgraded to the Crucial DDR3L-1600 SODIMM and according to the Crucial website is supposed to work in my model.

Any other idea?

Well, the crashes started way before I changed the RAM. Actually that was the reason I updated in the first place.

I did the AHT and according to the diagnostic it was ok, but the computer at some point got way to hot and I had to take off the back cover and lift it a little in order to get some air inside
