Hi

Apple Pay has strong privacy measures built-in.

Payment transactions are between you, the merchant and your bank - so Apple does not send electronic Apple Pay receipts and there is no option for this.

For example:

  • If you pay in a store, Apple doesn't collect any transaction information that can be tied back to you.
  • If you pay within an app, Apple Pay only retains anonymous information (which doesn't even include the exact purchase amount).

To view recent transactions paid for using Apple Pay on your iPhone, view your card in Wallet:

  • The most recent transaction:

Select a card by tapping on it > the latest transaction is shown beneath the image of the card.

  • Last 10 transactions:

Select a card and then tap on the info icon ("i" at the lower-right of the screen) > see under Transactions.

Depending on your card issuer, this information may show:

- Only transactions that were paid for using Apple Pay on your iPhone.

- All transactions made with your card / bank account (including use of the card itself and use of the card via Apple Pay on your iPhone - and any other devices that it has been added to).

In some cases, transaction values shown within Wallet may differ from the final transaction values (such as if a bank communicates only an initial authorisation sum to Wallet).
