Q: Unresponsive Apple Watch side button - it's always pressed
Hi All!
I was wondering if you could give me a hand since right now the closest Apple Store is within 10000 miles...
So the issue I'm experiencing is that the side button, although mechanically it seems to be working fine (meaning that it depresses and moves right back to the initial state) it's always sending the signal to the watch as "pressed".
Therefore couple of things happen.
1. I constantly see the turn off / reserve mode screen.
2. When I press the Digital Crown alone, it takes a screenshot.
3. I can't turn the watch on if I turn it off. Only if I put it to charge will turn on.
Ive tried to hard reset it, to inpair it and pair it again, etc nothing seems to work.
Could you you help me??? I'm really ****** off about this, since now it's off warranty....
Thanks!!!

Hi
Given the steps that you have already tried, I suggest that you arrange for your watch to be serviced by Apple.
Your watch may be eligible for (chargeable) out-of-warranty repair service.
If it is not convenient for you to visit the Genius Bar at an Apple Retail Store, contact Apple Support to establish your repair service options (which may include mail-in service), costs and likely timescales:
