lightweight video recording/compressing on Mac

I have recorded a video tutorial with Photo Booth and it is nearly 20 minutes long. It is 890 MB and i need to decrease it to 25 MB in order to upload it to youtube by MOBILE UPLOAD system.

1. Is there a way to decrease its weight without decreasing the quality? (have tried converting it to MP4 with my PRISM converter, and compress it with HAND BRAKE, but it didn't get to 25 MB, more like 150 MB)

2. is there a way to control the recordings properties so the original file is lighter than what I got?

3. is there another way to record video on mac, another app that i can use and controle its quality/weight properties (I tried the iVideo and the Quicktime options but it is not comfortable as i need to see my self like in a mirror as in the Photo Booth)?

Thank You !

Are you sure about your info on uploading videos to YouTube?

Accirding to YouTube guidelines, you can upload a video of 2 GB from directly to YouTube and uploading a video up to 20 GBs when using an up to date web browser to do the upload.

Your video is well within the 2 GB direct upload limit (890 MBs).

I don't understand.

Are you getting MBs and GBs mixed up?

PIck a different method for uploading your YouTube video.

There are lots and LOTS of videos much bigger than 25 MB in size on YouTube.

Yes, I know that I can upload heavier files to Youtube (in the normal upload system) but here I am talking about MOBILE UPLOAD it is a feature that YouTube has to be able to upload videos to a channel that is not mine (and im not familiar with its username and passwords) . I am making tutorials for a company which has bloggers like me and the way to do it (instead of sending the videos and that they upload them) is getting from them an email address which is linked to their youtube channel. I upload the video to the email, write the name of the Video on the Subject line and the description in the body of the email and it is posted on the channel directly of the email I sent. Later on the manager can change things if she logs in to the channel, but the video is there already. The thing is that the service goes with a Gmail address and its limit is 25 MB
