Q: Issue with Bluetooth Pairing 9.3.2 & 2013 Honda CRV

Ever since my upgrade to IOS 9.3.2. my Bluetooth on the 2013 Honda CRV hasn't worked.  When either making or answering a call, the voice both ways is cutting up intermittently and not audible.  Tried to re-pair several times with no success, even tried 'forget this device' and still nothing.  I now get the message 'Pairing Unsuccessful - Make sure 'Hansfree' is ready to pair and try entering the code again'

My handsfree was working beautifully up until the 9.3.2. upgrade.

This is very frustrating, I have checked several blogs and tried various options and STILL NOTHING!

Help.

    Hi yyz_yyz!

     

    I understand your car stereo's Bluetooth is having issues since you installed iOS 9.3.2.  I can understand how these types of issues can be frustrating, and I'm happy to offer some possible solutions.  Please review the steps outlined in the support article I've referenced below.  You may need to reach out to Honda to see if they have released a firmware update for the car stereo to address any compatibility issues.

    Im having exact same issue. I don't believe this is a car Bluetooth issue as this fault persists in both my BMW car and my Mitsubishi L200 work truck. I am on this 9.3.2 update so it must clearly be an update related issue owing to the different vehicles but exact same issue.

     

    Please note I stream music from the phone and sat nav audio spoken instructions to both vehicles without any issue.
