Mac Mini connect to MacBook Pro
I have an early MacBook Pro and I'd like to use it to burn a DVD made on my Mac Mini.
How would I connect them for the best result?

Remote disk/disk sharing does not work for burning
Use the CD or DVD drive from another computer with your Mac - Apple Support
Googling is inconclusive if you can burn by connecting the two via FireWire , booting the optical disk Mc in Target Disk mode and the other normally, and then burning via Target Disk Mode to the Mac with the optical drive.
