Q: ICloud Question - Photos/Videos

Hello,

I have a question regarding iCloud. How do I upload videos onto my iCloud photos so that they also get sent to my iPad automatically in the photos app? I tried uploading a video on icloud.com but it says that I can only upload JPEG files. Also, I downloaded iCloud for windows, so how can I upload videos and photos from this? I have a folder in my pictures called iCloud Photos ever since I downloaded it, and inside, I have subfolders called Downloaded, Uploaded, and Shared. I am not sure if this helps, but I converted my videos into MP4 format already.

Thanks!

iPad Mini, iOS 9.3.2

    Hi 4nthony0504,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you would like to have access to all of your photos and videos via iCloud, but you are having trouble uploading videos. We want to ensure you're able to access your photos and videos on all your devices, and we’re here to help.

The service that you would want to use to share your photos and videos across your devices automatically is called iCloud Photo Library. Once this services is enabled on all of your devices, your photos and videos will automatically be shared across all of your devices.

For more information on the iCloud Photo Library service, please read over the following article.
