Q: I have always had a 4 digit passcode, but after charging my phone this morning it now prompts me for a 6 digit code.

Asking for 6 digit passcode when my code is 4. Interface looking different too.

It's asking you to change to a six-digit code.

Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode > Change Passcode.

You'll have to enter your current four-digit passcode to gain access.

If you have made a recent backup of your iPhone, plug it in to your computer and Click on "Restore iPhone." This will delete everything off of your phone, but don't worry! Once you have restored it, click on "Restore from backup." All of your content will be put back on your phone.
