Q: How do I make iMessage on my MAC use my phone # instead of my email address
My iMessage on my MAC used to use my phone number and it would sync with my phone and I could reply to everyone's messages on the computer. Now, since I've updated my apple ID, it will only use my email address. (The last time this happened, it switched back but I don't know how) How do I change it back to using my phone #?

You need to set up Continuity to link your Mac and iPhone for sharing messages - Use Continuity to connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac - Apple Support
BUT, both devices must be logged into the same iCloud account using the same AppleID for login. You cannot link devices using different AppleIDs.
