Q: List of channels supported by russian iphone 6

Hi.

 

We've tried to connect few iphones 6 to wireless AP running UNII-3 frequency network. All data that we found saying that it's legal to use channels of unii-3 range in Russia, but all phones that we had failed to connect. Anyone has a list of channels supported by russian iphone?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2

    This article contains information about LTE support only, but we are looking information about Wi-Fi channels supported by russian iphone. We've tried to connect iphones to Wi-Fi network at UNII-3 frequency and they all failed to connect.

    Not a problem! This article here discusses Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points. It recommends using the following settings:

     

    Channel

    This setting controls which channel your Wi-Fi router will use to communicate. "Auto" allows the Wi-Fi router to select the best channel automatically. You can also manually select a channel.

    Set to: Auto

    Details: For best performance, choose "Auto" mode and let the Wi-Fi router select the best channel. If this mode isn't supported by your Wi-Fi router, you'll need to manually select a channel. You should pick a channel that's free from other Wi-Fi routers and other sources of interference. Read about possible sources of interference.
