Q: Not all songs in library syncing to Ipod touch

I have an IPOD Touch 5th generation that I just purchased refurbished from the apple store.  After syncing with ITunes several of the songs from my ITunes library do not show up on the Ipod.  When the ipod is connected to ITunes and I click on the device it show all the songs as if they synced fine and will play the songs from the ipod window in ITunes but they do not show up on the ipod itself.  In the ITunes library it shows that there are 4986 songs but on the ipod window in iTunes it only shows 4906 so it appears that some did not sync.  can someone please help?  Thanks so much

    Try:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

    - Delete the problem songs from your iTunes library and then either redownload or reimport, depending upon the source.

    - Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

    - Restore from backup. See:

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
