how to scan for missing audio files in Logic Pro X

I cannot get any of the sounds from SampleTank2.x that were packaged with my Fishman TriplePlay to load in Logic. However, they do appear in my Fishman TriplePlay program and play no problem with the midi controller. The very same sounds specific to SampleTank2.x do NOT load in Logic Pro X but EVERYTHING else does including the other patches that came with TriplePlay. In Logic they show up in red and are not usable.

I cannot sort out how to get Logic Pro to locate them. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

They may not be compatible. Go to the Logic Pro X menu, to Preferences, to Plugins Manager.

Click "Show All" at the top left.

Click "Reset and rescan selected" at the bottom right.

After that, click "Disable failed audio units" at the bottom left.

What isn't "successfully validated" simply won't show up.

But if you want those plugins inside Logic, you have to verify they are either VST or AU plugins.
