Q: Booting.

My Iphone just recently started booting me out of my apps. First, it was Facebook. I restarted my phone and the problem persisted, it even went on to persist within a couple of other apps. How do i fix the problem? And will i have to pay?

    Hello Cancerkid_98,

Thank you for being part of the Apple Community!

It is my understanding you are experiencing apps randomly shutting down on your iPhone.  We do some much with our iPhones; we need them to work as expected.

There are a few steps that can be taken to try to correct this.  The first thing we want to do is to make sure you have a current backup of everything on your iPhone. Nothing I am going to suggest should cause any data loss, but it is always a good idea to have a backup.  If you follow this link, you will find instructions on how to do a backup:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Once you have the backup, here are some suggestions on how to fix an app that randomly unexpectedly quits:

    1. Restart the app
    2. Restart your device
    3. Check for iOS and app updates
    4. Install another app from the App Store
    5. Delete and reinstall the app
    6. Contact the app developer

More information on each step can be found here:

If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open

    Cheers!
