anniversary of death in calendar (iOS, OSX)

Hi, for some reasons I would like to 'stay' persons in my adress book/contacts, even if they passed away.

I'm asking for a possibility to get both shown in my calendar automatically: the birthday AND the date they passed away.

Is there anybody who could give me help?

Thank you very much.

(specs: I'm using an older Mac mini with OS X 10.10.5 Yosemite - and an iPhone 4s, iOS 9.3.2)

Hi, I have a smilar question which is how to show other "non-birthday" dates in my Calendar. I have added the method suggested above imobl some time ago so that part of the process has been in place for a while.

However, I want those "other" dates (such as Anniversary, Date died, whatever label) to be shown in my Calendar in the same way as are Birthdays.

Lawrence recommends adding an event into Calendar, but that doesn't show the Anniversary occurrence, by which I mean "XXX's 30th Anniversary", etc. it only adds a "static" event to the relevant day each year.

Is there any method on adding the items from Address Book which will add the "occurrence" number as well?

Thanks in advance.
