Q: I keep losing my isp internet and server

As the title shows my problem. I mean in just a few seconds I lose the connection.This goes on constantly while I am on my (New) Mac.

I called apple and they told me to pull the power cord on the modem and shut the computer off and restart. This did not work.

I would appreciate any help.
