Q: Cannot use MMS to send pictures from Camera Roll on iPhone 6

All of a sudden, cannot use Messages to send pictures via MMS.

Open Messages, click on camera icon, select Photo Library, select recent picture, select Choose and when it goes back to Message, no picture is there to send.

Do the same picture by opening Camera Roll and choosing Messages, works fine.

Already checked all settings, reset my network settings, no issues etc with anything else. iOS is up to date, did a soft reset...

Any thoughts?

    Hello BaldElvis,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that when you try to choose a picture to send via the camera icon in the Messages app, it isn't loading the picture into the Messages app for you to send. I send many pictures this way too, so I know it's important we this issue resolved. I have a couple of things for you to try.

First, it appears that the Messages app isn't responding like it should, so I would like you to force close the Messages app using the article below:

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then, give your iPhone a fresh restart. You mentioned that you've done a soft reset, but please give the iPhone a fresh restart again after you've Force closed the Messages app. The article below will help:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Once your iPhone turns back on, attempt to send a picture and see if you get the same result.

    Cheers!
