128 gb ipad pro 9.7 in rose gold wifi connectivity issues everywhere!

I have a 128 GB Ipad Pro 9.7 in rose gold. I am having connectivity issues just about everywhere I go. Whether it is at a starbucks, school, or home. At home I have tried all the possible options from the basic to the complicated. I also just moved and when I first bought my ipad I thought that the wifi was just bad where I was living since it was in the country and the wifi at school was just bad. Any solutions offered did not work. I use my ipad so I don't have to turn on my PC. It has been a few months since I got the ipad. And I have been at my new place for a month or so and I am at wits end. I cannot watch hulu at all it bums out for some reason youtube is okay but is a little weird at times. I can play all my games that need wifi access. I absolutely have the hardest time using safari. This is a total bummer. It seems like a software problem since games that use wifi are not really affected. Apple can you fix this?? Or can I have a new ipad that works?? I bought this as a replacement to my ipad retina which was starting to show signs of not wanting to work very well any more. Thanks for any tips I haven't tried but I am pretty sure if apple reads this all the way through to the end they will find it is a software or programming issue. Not a mechanical issue. Thank you for your time!

Hello kfunk01.

Welcome the Apple Support Communities. From reading your post I see that you have some intermittent issues with Wi-Fi on your iPad Pro. I'm happy to provide you with some direction to resolve this.

1. Begin by following the steps on this Apple knowledge base article:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

Be sure to complete step 6.

6. Still can’t connect?

Reset your Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.

2. Review the recommended Wi-Fi settings in this Apple article:

Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

3. If the issue persists after performing the above troubleshooting, then let's backup your iPad data and set it up as new.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups

After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Re-try what you were trying when you first found the issue to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device might have caused the unexpected behavior.

- If the issue persists, you might want to contact Apple Support.

- If the issue is resolved, sync one type of content at a time back to your device. For example, if you had an issue playing music, add songs from iTunes and confirm that they will play. If your contacts weren't loading successfully, add the contacts back. After each sync, test to see if the issue has returned.

Have a great day.
