These happen on a very regular basis. You can forward the email to Apple at reportphishing@apple.com and then delete the email.
Thanks ChrisJ4203! I tried to look for this email address, but did not find it anywhere on Apple Support pages.
It really isn't in the Support pages. This is one of the locations regarding phishing attempts. https://www.apple.com/legal/more-resources/phishing/
This is the other. Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email - Apple Support
This sort of thing is almost always a phishing attempt and usually a bad one. More often than not the spelling and grammar are horrible. And when the e-mail starts out with "Dear Customer" or "Dear Client" or some such, that's almost always a dead giveaway. The businesses that may contact you by email will almost certainly have your name and will use it in the greeting. And almost no reputable business *does* business this way anyway.
But as always, if you have any question about the legitimacy of such e-mails, never click the links. Go to the supposed sender's website by *directly* typing it in (not using links), or pick up the phone and call them.
