Jun 30, 2016 6:13 AM in response to Angelikaiby Meg St._Clair,What do you mean by "resetting"? Do you mean you've tried pressing and holding the Home and Power buttons until the apple appears? That's what used to be called a reset but is now called a forced restart. Have you tried backing up the phone and restoring it from your back up? Have you tried restoring it as new?
Do the videos play if you transfer them to a computer?

Jun 30, 2016 10:41 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby Angelikai,I reset the network setting. I haven't tried restoring it to new. I'll be honest and say I'm scared to lose all my videos and I haven't had time to transfer them onto my computer. Being a new phone I don't understand why I would have to restore as new in such a short period of having it. I found that if I choose to edit the videos I've taken, then they will download and play. Only some videos are affected. If I edit the videos and save as new clip they will olay with immediacy. If I don't edit them and save as new clip, they will "undownload" and the problem ensues. Thank you for your help!

Jun 30, 2016 12:40 PM in response to Angelikaiby new2apple.,No, I don't have any problems with videos on my iPhone. However, if I had an issue that seems to occur due to a defective device, I would go to an Apple shop and seek help there.

Jun 30, 2016 12:54 PM in response to Angelikaiby Macology,From what you describe, I believe you are attempting to watch videos from the Photos app that have been stored in iCloud. Videos you stream from the cloud will take longer to load than videos that are stored locally on your device, especially if you are streaming over your carrier network rather than over Wi-Fi. Although the Photos app allows you to access your home videos and photos across all of your devices, it does not keep local copies of this content on each device. If you wish to change the storage method used by iCloud so that local copies are kept, please follow the instructions listed in the following Apple support article.

Jun 30, 2016 1:55 PM in response to Macologyby Angelikai,I tried some of those methods. I called customer service, and they advised me to back up my phone and set up my phone as a new device. I am in the middle of that right now. The problem is my photos and videos are not being transferred to my iPhoto on my computer, as it says that the current version of iPhoto is not compatible with my recent update of the latest IOS version. I attempted to download a compatible version, but it states that the version I need is not available in the US. I feel at a loss and my phone call with them has been disconnected.

Jun 30, 2016 3:10 PM in response to Angelikaiby Macology,Though you may still use iPhoto to manage photos on your Mac, this true that iOS no longer supports iPhoto for syncing photos. You will have to get the new Mac app known simply as "Photos". There is an Apple support article that specifically addresses how to update iPhoto to Photos, and how to manually migrate your photo library to the new Photos application. Here is a link to the article in question.
Updating from iPhoto to Photos for OS X - Apple Support
As for iPhoto, there are no more updates for that application here in the U.S., because the app has been fully replaced by Photos. The good news is that the app should recognize your existing photo library. Keep me posted about your issue and I will see what other options we can explore to hopefully get a solution.
