Q: transcoding files - missing after crash

Hi everyone,

I was transcoding 6 MP4 video files intro Proxy files. All proxy files were completed except one, which was at about 80%. Well FCPX 10.2.3 crashed. When I reopened FCPX ALL the 5 completed MP4 files had the Missing Proxy error on the files, as well as the one which was 80% completed. The proxy files are no where to be found. Not the in library contained folder or anywhere else on my system. Basically I had to start the transcoding all over again.

My question is, is this normal behavior for FCPX when It crashes, that all the files go missing? Is there a way to resume where the transcoding left off, or re-link the proxy files to the original files again, even though they are not on my computer?

Thanks in advance!
