So I recently purchased a late 2013 iMac running 10.9.5
My work horse has been a mid 2010 MacBook Pro. running 10.10.5
Soon I'm going to upgrade to a new MacBook Pro (still searching), and erase the contents of the old one and give it to my daughter.
I'd like to move the entire content of my laptop to the new iMac (as in my entire user acc.), so that EVERYTHING (including old Office apps/docs etc) move over and show up just as they did on my laptop.
1). Is this feasible?
2). Should I upgrade the iMac to 10.10.5 first before doing the transfer.
3). Is there a better way/method to accomplish what I'm trying to do.
