iPhone

Q: Can't hear people on phone, unless I put them on speaker.

When I make or receive a phone call, I have to turn on the speaker so i can hear the person on the other end.  They can hear me before I turn on the speaker.  I have an iPhone 6 Plus.  what should I do?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.2

Did you already try the troubleshooting mentioned in this article?

If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound isn't clear on your iPhone - Apple Support

 

Did you try to toggle the volume up while on a call, using the buttons on the side of the phone?
