Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. I understand that your MacBook is no longer booting after quitting Disk Utility during an operation. I know it's important to get back to a working computer, so I'm happy to provide you with some direction for this.
Because of what you're running into currently, it seems that you'll want to reinstall OS X on your MacBook. You can see the different methods for this here:

Once you've got it up and running again, I'd also advise ensuring you have a backup of your computer in case something like this happens in the future and causes worse issues:
Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac
